It’s a big and exciting week for the team! Please read carefully to stay up to date on practices, events, and meet info:

🏊Monday, June 2 – Morning Practice Begins

We are switching to morning practices starting Monday! Please check your swimmer’s group time and be on deck and ready to go!
Also – welcome to our Pre-Team swimmers starting this week!

🎨 Tuesday, June 3 – Poster Making

Let’s get pumped for our first meet! We'll have poster making at both AM and PM practices. Bring your spirit and creativity!

🏁 Wednesday, June 4 – AWAY MEET @ Battlefield Green

Here are the full details for our first dual meet of the season:

Meet 1: Wembly @ Battlefield Green
🗓️ Date: Wednesday, June 5
🕕 Start Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location:
Battlefield Green Pool
6211 Rolling Forest Circle
Mechanicsville, VA 23111

Directions: From I-295, take Route 360 East past Kroger. Turn left on Old Cavalry Drive (just before Valero). The pool is immediately on the right.

Wembly Team Area:

• Set up on the right side of the pool (near diving board)
• Bring chairs!

Schedule:

• 4:30 PM – Check-in
• 5:00–5:20 PM – Battlefield Green warm-ups
• 5:25–5:45 PM – Wembly warm-ups
• 5:45 PM – Officials/timers meeting
• 5:55 PM – National Anthem
• 6:00 PM – Meet begins

Concessions:

• Burgers, hot dogs, snacks, ice cream truck
• Cash only
• 🎟️ 50/50 Raffle – bring $ to enter!

🎉 Thursday, June 5 – Fun Practice

Join us for a single Fun Practice at 9AM! Games, relays, and lots of Waves energy!

💦 Friday, June 6 – Swim-A-Thon + Glow Swim Party!

Help us raise funds for our team by supporting the Swim-A-Thon! Afterward, stick around for our Glow Swim Party from 6–8 PM with the Kaziville Food Truck on deck!
